I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it: I dislike having to deal with an author website. My job involves a lot of web upkeep, and I’d rather pursue my hobbies. By the way, if you haven’t seen my Instagram @pensloth, you really ought to.
I’m behind on “Bleeding the Little Lambs,” and the main character is floating around in the back of my head, being VERY impatient. We’ve got a draft of the cover, but it doesn’t entirely suit the book…at least that’s what I think.
I learned with the first “Blood Soaked” book that I shouldn’t have anything to do with designing the cover myself. First, I’m too close to the narrative, and I used to be a graphic designer…my design sensibilities are WAY out of date.
Luckily, I married a designer.
Keeping my hands off most of the development is a serious challenge.
