We’re on the hind end of our Christmas vacation, visiting with my wife’s family in Gomez Palacio. It’s been wonderful, both from a family perspective and as a culinary adventure.
Honestly, I don’t think we understand Mexican food on the East Coast of the USA. Believe me, that’s a pity.
Anyhow, I’ve been able to get a lot of writing done for the first draft edits of the third Alexa Hernandez book. I feel like a little more needs to be done to wrap up the story and tweak the overall continuity, but that’s pretty typical for how I write.
My biggest challenge now is to finalize the titles for books 2 and 3. I really like short titles, but I’m beginning to think they’re not descriptive enough to catch the attention of anyone who hasn’t read the first book in the series.
We’ll see what happens. In the meantime, Happy New Year!
